Lamine Yamal predicts goal-scoring success for Barcelona youngster Hamza Abdelkarim
Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal has expressed confidence in a fellow attacker at the club, anticipating a successful career in Catalonia for him.
The player Yamal is referring to is Hamza Abdelkarim.
Abdelkarim generated considerable enthusiasm among Barcelona supporters over the summer. After his loan move from Al Ahly was made permanent, the Egyptian attacker received an opportunity to showcase his abilities at the senior level under Hansi Flick during preseason.
Abdelkarim seized this chance, scoring multiple goals in limited appearances during Barcelona's friendly matches.
These performances led to a La Liga debut, fueling further excitement around the 18-year-old's potential.
In a recent interview with On Sport, as reported by Diario Sport, Yamal commented on his rising teammate.
"He has a promising future. He's still young and possesses all the qualities needed to become a great striker. I believe he will make the most of his opportunities with the team and score many goals."
"We've all seen his goal-scoring ability. He will benefit from playing time at Barcelona. He's a very adaptable player. We form a strong team and always aim to make him feel comfortable."
