Atlético Captain Koke Urges Fans to Support Julián Álvarez

Atlético Madrid's captain, Koke, has appealed to the club's fanbase regarding their treatment of teammate Julián Álvarez. The Argentine forward has faced a challenging start to the season after his summer request to leave the Spanish capital was denied by the club's management.

Since being denied his transfer, Álvarez has been subjected to boos, jeers, and whistles from Atlético supporters during every La Liga appearance this season.

Following Atlético's Champions League loss to Liverpool on Wednesday, Koke spoke to the media, offering his support to Álvarez.

Koke's plea, as reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, stated: "Leave Julián Álvarez calm, in peace. We are all tired of that. Let the boy play, enjoy, do his job. I hope you can let him relax and stay in peace."
