Tottenham Set to Pursue 6ft 2in Defender Tarik Muharemovic in £26m Deal
Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly eyeing Sassuolo's Tarik Muharemovic, a 6ft 2in defender, according to recent Italian media reports. While the North London club currently has Cristian Romero, Micky Van de Ven, Radu Dragusin, and Kevin Danso as central defensive options, there is speculation that Spurs are looking to further bolster their backline.
A potential deal for the 20-year-old Bosnian talent, known for his imposing physical presence, could be valued around £26 million. This interest comes amidst Sassuolo's challenging season in Serie A, which might lead to the availability of some of their key players as the summer transfer window approaches.
Spurs' management is believed to be assessing various options to strengthen the squad, particularly in defense, as they aim for a more consistent performance in the upcoming seasons. Muharemovic's profile as a young, tall, and promising centre-back appears to align with the club's long-term recruitment strategy.
